The ASPCA is the oldest humane organization in the Western Hemisphere, and as we approach our 141st birthday, we’re more dedicated than ever to our work preventing animal cruelty and finding homes for millions of animals all across the country. But we couldn’t do it without the support of compassionate citizens like you—so please join us on April 10, 2007, in celebration of ASPCA Day. Show your love of animals—and your support for the mission of the ASPCA—by dressing yourself, your pet (even your community!) in orange on April 10th. Whether you organize a pet parade in your neighborhood, petition to get your town hall to light up orange, help your children bake orange cupcakes to share with their classmates, or simply decorate your office door with an orange bow, we’ll be tickled pink (er…orange!) and very much appreciative. Volunteer Assignments & Training

• Adoptions Counselor: Must take Adoptions, Cat, and Level 1 Dog Sessions
• Animal Care Technician: Must take Cat and Level 1 Dog Sessions
• Cat Volunteer: Must take Cat Session
• Dog Volunteer: Must take Level 1 Dog Session; Level 2 Dog Session (to work with level 2 dogs)
• Foster Care: Must take Foster Care, Cat (if fostering cats), and Level 1 Dog Sessions (if fostering dogs)
• Veterinarian Assistant: Must take Cat Session and Level 1 Dog Session
• All Other Positions: On the job training; the ASPCA staff liaison will be notified of your interest.

March 10th, 3:00 P.M.–5:30 P.M.
March 15th, 6:30 P.M.–9:00 P.M.
April 7th, 2:30 P.M.–5:00 P.M.
April 12th, 6:30 P.M.–9:00 P.M.
April 24th, 6:30 P.M.–9:00 P.M.

Level 2 Dog Session (Choose One- must have worked 16 hours or more with Level 1 dogs to sign up- NO EXCEPTIONS)
