A great way to explain Twitter to your friends

I normally don’t have a problem explaining new technologies to people but Twitter really caused me to pause and think.

A Twitterer for more than a few months now I find it a great way to stay in touch with friends and colleagues.  Now that I use Twitterific I am able to submit and track Twitter posts all day long.

Cali Lewis (of GeekBrief.TV) latest show discussed a video created by the team at CommonCraft Show that does a great job explaining how Twitter works and why you would want to use it.  It is really short and worth watching.

No Space Too Small

No Space Too Small

When my wife and I were touring Rome, Italy 9 years ago we saw SMART cars everywhere. These little cars built for two were very cute and very practical in a city known to be very unfriendly to large cars. Sharon and I talked about the practicality of having such a car in NYC which is also a city that is not very supportive of large automobiles.

It appears that after only 9 years someone has finally figured out how to import them into the USA and I saw this little beauty parked in my neighborhood for the first time. What’s great is the car’s ability to fit into small spaces. I have no idea what kind of crash rating a car this small would receive .. but I’m willing to investigate!
